San Juan Diego Catholic High School's Corporate Internship Program (CIP) proudly welcomes Freytag's Florist as a new Corporate Partner this school year.

Miss Megan Thrutchley has been named the new Varsity Cheerleading Coach at San Juan Diego Catholic High School.

Mr. Sean Vondrak has been named the new Head Football Coach for San Juan Diego Catholic High School. 

Dr. Jennielle Médica Strother has been named the new Varsity Volleyball Coach at San Juan Diego Catholic High School.

Starting Tuesday, December 13th until Friday, December 16th midterm exams will take place. These days will be half days for students.

Based on Travis County’s COVID-19 downward trends the last few weeks, we are revising our COVID-19 safety protocols, specifically our mask mandate.

The Creative Crew is a student led club which provides an unique opportunity for students. The Creative Club wants to make sure students who want to explore art making -- but don't necessarily have extensive training or previous experience -- feel supported by the group. Check out their website!

Viva Verde is ready to pitch their business plan next week thanks to Luis Rodriguez, President and CEO of the Greater Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Luis met with Viva Verde to discuss their business pitch and gave them important advice to help prepare them for the panel.

Thank you Kirsten Bond from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) for your presentation and meaningful advice to the junior entrepreneurship classes. Our students enjoy networking and learning from professionals on how to market their product for success! 

Congratulations are in order to Coach Brooks, Coach Prater and the Saints Women’s Soccer Team for capturing the TAPPS III District 3 Championship! Sarina S’s 5 goals paced the Saints to a 12-0 shutout over Waco Reicher Catholic on January 30th. The Saints Women's Soccer Team brought home the school's first district championship in any sport. Go Saints!

During Catholic Schools Week Superintendent, Misty Poe stopped by SJD to award three faculty members Advancing Our Mission Grants. Our faculty goes above and beyond for our students and looking forward to using these funds to enhance their learning environment.

What better way to celebrate Catholic Schools week than with activities to highlight our special community and the families/students who recognize the importance, the value and the contributions of Catholic education!

It has been a fantastic time for the students this morning during our quarterly Honor Roll assembly. We are glad to announce over 55% of all students have achieved AB Honor Roll status or higher this past quarter. We are all proud of our students' success and pray even more students join the 84 honored today. Congratulations Saints!

Over the weekend all the Catholic Schools and supporters gathered to celebrate Catholic education. The Saints & Scholars Gala included an awards presentation honoring Diocesan School Heroes.

Today SJD celebrated our annual Thanksgiving Feast for grades 9th-11th. Thanks to our SPA parents for helping coordinate the food and set-up.

Today our student body gathered to celebrate senior TAPPS Distance Runner Abraham Avila-Martinez as he signed his National Letter of Intent to the University of Texas at Austin.
