Viva Verde is ready to pitch their business plan next week thanks to Luis Rodriguez, President and CEO of the Greater Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Luis met with Viva Verde to discuss their business pitch and gave them important advice to help prepare them for the panel.

Congratulations are in order to Coach Brooks, Coach Prater and the Saints Women’s Soccer Team for capturing the TAPPS III District 3 Championship! Sarina S’s 5 goals paced the Saints to a 12-0 shutout over Waco Reicher Catholic on January 30th. The Saints Women's Soccer Team brought home the school's first district championship in any sport. Go Saints!
During Catholic Schools Week Superintendent, Misty Poe stopped by SJD to award three faculty members Advancing Our Mission Grants. Our faculty goes above and beyond for our students and looking forward to using these funds to enhance their learning environment.

It has been a fantastic time for the students this morning during our quarterly Honor Roll assembly. We are glad to announce over 55% of all students have achieved AB Honor Roll status or higher this past quarter. We are all proud of our students' success and pray even more students join the 84 honored today. Congratulations Saints!

Today our student body gathered to celebrate senior TAPPS Distance Runner Abraham Avila-Martinez as he signed his National Letter of Intent to the University of Texas at Austin.
