The mission of San Juan Diego Catholic High School (SJDCHS) Athletics is to offer a competitive sports program that acts as an extension of the classroom which teaches and reinforces Gospel values such as respect, humility, integrity, fellowship, courage, and perseverance.
SJDCHS currently offers 11 varsity sports and 2 club sports. The athletic program emphasizes skill development, teamwork, physical fitness, and, above all, sportsmanship. At SJDCHS, academics and athletics go hand-in-hand, adhering to a "no pass, no play" policy.
SJDCHS student-athletes are also recognized as leaders in our community and receive many honors and awards from the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) for their athletic achievement and academic accomplishments. SJDCHS will compete in TAPPS Class 2A level of competition during the 2022-2024 term.

All student-athletes participating in any sport are required to have all TAPPS Forms completed on the RankOne App prior to the first day of their sports practice. Physical exams must also be on-file prior to the first day of their sports practice and are valid for one calendar year.
