San Juan Diego Catholic High School offers a rigorous, college preparatory curriculum that aims to serve our students’ unique needs. Each student at San Juan Diego Catholic High School (SJDCHS) has an option to receive a TCCED’s "Distinguished Achievement" Diploma of 28 credits. The demanding coursework required to achieve the "Distinguished Achievement" Diploma prepares students for success in their post-secondary studies.
SJDCHS seeks to help each student optimize his or her skills. In support of our mission, our caring teachers build strong foundations for academic success. With a 10:1 student-teacher ratio, SJDCHS’ small class sizes ensure a highly personalized instructional experience. Enrichment courses and after-school programs such as tutoring are designed to improve the academic standards of our students.
In addition, SJDCHS offers exceptional students the opportunity to apply to earn college credit by taking Advanced Placement courses or by participating in Austin Community College's Early College Start program. Among the Advanced Placement courses offered in Art History, Biology, Calculus AB, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, and United States History.
San Juan Diego Catholic High School is committed to helping all graduating seniors find the right college fit. To facilitate the application process, all senior students take a Senior Seminar class in which they research and apply to colleges, and all students have access to a College Counselor.

San Juan Diego Catholic High School ranks the top 10% of the senior class in order that students may benefit from Section 51.803 of the Texas Education Code, which provides automatic admission to all public universities in the state of Texas. This ranking information may also be utilized for admission to any other college or university.
