Our primary goal throughout the admission process is to identify students who we believe will have the greatest opportunity for success at our school. In order for us to make the most informed decision possible, we require that families submit all materials included in the application packet. An application checklist has been created for your convenience so that you can keep track of the application materials.
In addition to a completed application form and essay, we require four letters of recommendation and a signed academic release of records form. A non-refundable application fee should accompany each application. San Juan Diego Catholic High School (SJDCHS) only accepts applicants twice a year through the first two weeks of each semester.
Every student at San Juan Diego Catholic High School participates in our Corporate Work Study Program. To be eligible for the program, applicants must have permission to work in the United States. For this reason, we require each applicant to submit a copy of his or her birth certificate along with a copy of his or her Social Security card, resident alien card, or permanent resident card.
San Juan Diego Catholic High School does not want tuition to be a barrier for any student who wants to have access to quality, Catholic, college-preparatory education. Therefore, we offer financial aid and need-based scholarships to assist families who have chosen SJDCHS. All families are required to complete the PSAS application for financial aid and must verify family income by submitting a W-2 form, IRS 1040, and their most recent pay stub.
